Two young and talented designers meet the essence of a favorite fashion brand: Lila Nova and Loukia Kyriakou both came to the spotlight as winners of the (much anticipated at every AXDW) Best New Designers Awards - in March 2012 and in March 2013, respectively. The first prize was the creation of their own collection,
in close collaboration with Katerina Gkouma, head designer of the label and creative consultant for both the collections. The truly unique style of the two winners (Lila's flair for a vintage-inspired version of fairytale chic, and Loukia's interpretation of her African / safari heritage through ladylike luxury) fit like a glove to the Underground look, resulting in collections that artfully combine unique creativity and high functional value. Both the collections were an instant hit with the Underground crowd - as a result, at this AXDW, Lila Nova presents her fifth collaboration, while Loukia presents her second one.
