30 Greek and international fashion designers, 1 awards ceremony for New Designers, 4 days full of style and renewal, and many glamorous guests!
The 15th International Fashion Week Athens, Athens Xclusive Designers Week, completed with an impressive finale, having presented the new collections of 30 Greek and international designers and fashion brands.
The favorite designer Loukia, the undisputed grand dame of Greek fashion, "opened" the Fashion Week presenting the collection «The Dark Side of Lovely». A collection that appeals to young girls: dark shades mixed with light colors while woolen elements and baizes are entangled with lace, giving a unique effect that is not exclusively within the strict 'rules' of couture, but combines influences from all the arts with a free imaginative way. The wonderful creations subversively combined with sports shoes and lace masks impressed the guests of AXDW!
Spanish designer Patricia Adam came for the first time in Greece to present her new collection which is dominated by black, grey and dark green, while the impressive accessories worn by the models made a great impression.
Athina Korda presented in the AXDW the "Lost In a Moment", a collection inspired by a Berlin performance. Great 'moments' of colors like bordeaux, blue, grey and black, combined with the fur and leather, timeless materials, 'lost' in time.
The designer Andreea Tincu from Romania, presented her personal collection with main references of black and fuchsia, but also with cute heart shaped hair accessories. The shoes of the show were an offer of the company MIGATO.
The SOMF, known for their signature tattoo leggings, their lasercut details and the symbolism of their prints, presented their collection "Pathetic" for Winter 14/15: Day-to-night suits, precious embroidery and performances inspired by the heavy metal aesthetic of the 90s, combined with dreamy materials and a generous dose of girlish innocence and scherzo.
The internationally acclaimed Greek designer Angelos Bratis presented his new collection, which through strict geometries that acquire lightness with precious materials such as cashmere, silk crepe and lamé, suits and capes heringbone, double cashmere coat and his favorite silk dresses acquire new dimensions through slanting cuts in ultra-feminine forms. The color palette looks like something out of film noir movies as the heroine of the collection. The black is starring in the most absolute versions, playing with light and shadows, silver and different shades of gold .
The renowned Greek designer Makis Tselios, amazed the guests with a fine selection of creations in dark tones for women and men!
The Toni & Guy Greece Hair Meet Wardrobe, the official hair sponsor of AXDW, marched along with Mystyleforecast.com and presented the trends of fashion and hair styling for 2014. The 4 favorites Toni & Guy hair looks Glamour, Classic, Creative & Casual, «clothed» with the trendiest outfits! Highlight of the show was the shelfie pictures of the models from the fitting of the show that were shown on the big screen!
Airy & impressive was the new collection of Marks & Spencer with a key element the total white looks and the impressive swimsuits, gave a summer feeling at the catwalk of AXDW.
The house Kathy Heyndels and the head of the house, Yannis Togos presented the new collection with a very playful way, as the models were eating cotton candy! 3 ladies of Greek catwalk Vicky Koulianou, Niki Kartsona and Evi Adam filled the catwalk with their explosive presences!
Konstantinos Mitrovgenis presented his new collection with key issues the origami and the folds. Colors and intense music from The Mode, gave rhythm to the last show of the evening.
The brand SenseLimitedEdition is a creation of the Romanian designer Andreea Tincu. Evening dresses distinguished by refinement and elegance in tones of gray, black and purple.
The Atelier Nene High Fashion of the design duo, Panagiota Nene and Stella Milonaki, presented the collection «Greece fits me», with strong and elaborate references to red and gold, combined with black, with a scent of Greece.
Panos Apergis impressed with his new collection with the main feature of digital prints in strong colors on white canvases that capture the joyful side of winter. Guest stars on the catwalk were the only Natalia Dragoumi and Vasiliki Stamatopoulou (wife of Nick Anadiotis).
The 15th AXDW had the honor to host for the first time the most romantic house in Paris, the house of Cacharel, which presented its new collection, "Autumn Dance"! It is worth noting that this specific collection was not shown anywhere else in the world and its first official presentation took place in the 15th AXDW with highlight a special dance presented by Belvedere Vodka at the start of the show.
12 new talents of the design scene presented their collections and competed for prestigious awards: Stavrianna Georgiadi, Nella Ioannou, Sinister, Leon by Ilias Wia, Nikolaos Tsironis, King & Queen, Sandy Antoniou, TwoAs, Ellen S. & F. Erotokritos, Blondie.e, Anastasia Dosi, Storydrops by Electra Vasileiou. Shortly before the big award last year's winner of the Best New Designer, Loukia Kyriakou, and last year's winner of the Best Trendsetter, 180Degrees, presented their completed collections! Loukia Kyriakou presented a collection with basic elements the white lace and colors nude, blue and red while the brand 180Degrees presented creations with unique prints that can be worn in many ways!
At the jury for the evaluation of the contestants was Ms. Vicky Kaya, founder of Fashion Workshop, Ms. Annabelle Dos Santos, communications director of the French fashion house Cacharel, Ms. Dominique Fantaccino, Country Manager of H & M for Greece and Bulgaria, Mrs. Katerina Gouma, owner and designer of the label "Underground", Ms Sonia Kazoni, Product Manager of People magazine in Greece, Ms. Genevieve Majari, photographer and administrator and Ms. Claire Ardhuin, public relations manager of the French brand Cacharel.
The organizer of the Athens Xclusive Designers Week, Tonia Fouseki, during her speech at the award ceremony, congratulated all the participants for their presentations and spoke for the support of the organization to the Greek designers but also for the importance of fostering the new talents, from its foundation.

Winners of this year's awards were emerged:
Anastasia Dosi: The designer amazed the audience and the judges with her unique collection, which was accompanied by MIGATO shoes, and won the Best New Designer award, which was awarded by Ms. Katerina Gouma, the owner and designer of label "Underground". The award represents the ability of the winner to prepare a capsule collection, based on his designs, for the label Underground, which will be sold in the Underground boutiques and in the online shop of the label, while it will be also sampled in boutiques in Greece and abroad. In the context of promoting the capsule collection of the winner, the prize also includes a photo shoot by one of the leading Greek professionals of fashion photography, who works with the label Underground.
TwoAs: The duo TwoAs gave a new impetus to the trends for the next season and was rewarded with the prize Best Trendsetter, which was awarded by Ms. Dominique Fantaccino, Country Manager of H&M of Greece and Bulgaria. The winners will curate an exclusive window with H&M Summer Looks at the two flagship stores of H&M - 54 Ermou Str. in Athens and 20 Tzimiksi Str. in Thessaloniki. The xclusive windows that will be created are also going to be presented in ELLE magazine.
Nikolaos Tsironis: The designer presented a collection with strong influences from art, presenting a very special effect and earning the prize Best Catwalk, which was awarded by Ms. Vicky Kaya, founder of Fashion Workshop. The award represents a scholarship at FashionWorkshop by Vicky Kaya which includes participation in the summer intensive powered by DEUX HOMMES with three weeks duration.

The makeup of the shows was created with Lee Hatton products and was undertaken from the team of the school FREDDY MAKE UP STAGE, led by Freddy Kalobratso.
The hair styling for the shows of AXDW was created with products of the British fashion lover brand Toni & Guy, which are loved by millions of women for the irresistible style and the unique tone that it gives to every appearance! Diamantopoulos School of hairdressing composed the team for hair styling as they do every season, with head Vasilis Diamantopoulos.
For the duration of the 15th AXDW, the visitors had the choice to meet the beneficial properties of a drinkable miracle, of the top drinkable collagen, Collagen Pro-Active that is both for beauty and health!
All of the days at the event was conducted the Fashion Design Project, the open design competition, which gives the opportunity for a design talent that will be voted on by the public via facebook to participate in the next New Designers Awards.
The visitors of fashion week visited the unique showroom of MIGATO and discovered the new collections of footwear of the famous brand, and also the showroom Alexia Fashion with creations by Greek designers, which were at the venue of the event for all of four days.
